Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CardWatch (cardwatch.com.au). By signing in or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What CardWatch is
CardWatch is a free tool for tracking your Pokémon Trading Card Game collection, browsing AU retailer stock, and receiving alerts when retailers change pricing or availability. It aggregates publicly available data from third-party sources; we are not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, or any of the retailers we monitor.
Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. By signing in you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information in your Google account is accurate.
Acceptable use
- Use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes related to tracking your own collection.
- Do not scrape, mirror, redistribute, or resell data obtained from CardWatch. The catalogue, pricing, and stock data we surface is collected from third parties under their own terms; bulk re-extraction is not permitted.
- Do not abuse the alert system to flood retailer pages with automated traffic. Notifications are intended for your personal buying decisions, not for inventory-arbitrage bots.
- Do not attempt to bypass the authentication, authorisation, or per-user data scoping mechanisms.
- Don't do anything illegal under Australian or your local law.
Your content
You retain ownership of the holdings, notes, and scan images you upload. By using the service you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and render this content as needed to operate CardWatch (e.g. computing your portfolio value, running OCR on your scans). We do not claim ownership of, sell, or syndicate your content.
Pricing and availability data
Reference prices and AU market estimates come from publicly available pricing data and may be delayed, inaccurate, or briefly unavailable. Retailer stock and pricing is fetched from each retailer's public website or API. Always confirm price and availability directly with the retailer before purchasing. CardWatch is not responsible for differences between what we display and what the retailer charges or stocks.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Australian law, we make no warranties about availability, accuracy, fitness for purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies non-excludable guarantees, those guarantees apply.
Limitation of liability
Subject to non-excludable Australian Consumer Law guarantees, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss (including missed restocks, lost profits, lost data, or trading losses) arising from your use of the service. Our total liability, if any, is capped at the fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (currently zero, as the service is free).
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email privacy@cardwatch.com.auwith the subject "CardWatch delete". We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the service in ways that risk other users or retailer relationships.
Changes
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site and take effect 30 days after publication. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is to be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
