Big W 30th Celebration Drop

BIG W has listed the full Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary range ahead of launch. A drop was widely expected on Friday 10 July, however the products did not go live as anticipated and no official release date has been announced by the retailer. The Elite Trainer Box briefly appeared on the BIG W website on 9 July, with a small number of orders processing before later being cancelled and refunded, suggesting the listing may have gone live in error or as part of internal testing. Based on retailer behaviour and the products already being loaded into the catalogue, the drop is still expected in the near future, with next week currently appearing more likely than an immediate weekend release. As always, dates can change without notice and CardWatch will continue monitoring for any early listings or stock activity.

Update (7 July): JB Hi-Fi has now completed its relisting of the Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary products. CardWatch detected all products becoming available immediately as the drop began. While JB Hi-Fi again experienced significant website performance issues under heavy demand, many customers reported successfully placing orders within 20–30 minutes of the products going live. EB Games also launched its allocation, however prices were significantly higher than those offered by most other Australian retailers, leading many customers to wait for other retailers rather than purchase immediately. CardWatch will continue monitoring participating retailers for any further restocks or additional allocations.
