Pokémon Mega Evolution: Delta Reign Australia Release Guide (6 November 2026)
Friday 6 November 2026 · Australia
Last updated 19 October 2026
Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution: Delta Reign releases across Australia on Friday 6 November 2026, with Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles among the key products collectors will be looking for. Major retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Kmart, BIG W and EB Games have already offered preorders, while specialist TCG stores are also worth checking for remaining preorders and release-day stock. Blisters and single packs are part of the Australian range, and the 30th Celebration 5 Booster Tin releases the same day. This guide covers where to buy, previous preorder activity and what to expect on release day. For the full product lineup and later release waves, see the Delta Reign release page.
Delta Reign products
A full expansion of over 135 cards featuring Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex, with more than 35 special-illustration cards and the new Legendary Stadium cards. Prices are what each retailer listed when its preorders appeared, not a promise of stock on the day; specialist prices vary.

Elite Trainer Box
ConfirmedOne of the most sought-after Delta Reign products, particularly among sealed collectors. Listed at $100 by Kmart and JB Hi-Fi and $120 by EB Games, with specialist prices ranging from approximately $120 to $199.99.

Booster Box (36 packs)
ConfirmedA popular option for collectors looking to open packs in bulk at a lower cost per pack, although some also collect them sealed. Listed at $299 by Kmart and BIG W and $306 by JB Hi-Fi, with specialist prices ranging from approximately $295 to $399.99.

Booster Bundle (6 packs)
ConfirmedA popular option for opening packs or keeping sealed without buying a full Booster Box. Listed at $50 by JB Hi-Fi and Kmart, $59 by EB Games and approximately $59.99 to $75 elsewhere, including Toymate.

Three-Booster Blister
ConfirmedThree packs with a promo card: $26 at JB Hi-Fi and Kmart, $32 at EB Games; specialist prices vary.

Booster packs and sleeved boosters
Confirmed$8.50 sleeved or checklane boosters at Target, Kmart and BIG W, $9.95 loose packs at EB Games, and varying prices at specialist stores. The products most retailers put on the shelf.
Other products
ExpectedEB Games lists a Delta Reign 9-Pocket Portfolio ($30) for 6 November and the Build & Battle Box ($49) for 20 November; that later date is EB's listing, not a confirmed nationwide date. Play! Pokémon stores have been running Delta Reign prerelease events since 24 October, where the entry fee includes a Build & Battle Box.
Release times
Online preorder waves have already run at major retailers, covering Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles. EB Games listed the range on 21 August, and its Elite Trainer Box ($120) and Booster Bundle ($59) were gone within days. JB Hi-Fi put its range live at 10am AEST on Monday 1 September ($306 Booster Box, $100 Elite Trainer Box, $50 Booster Bundle, $26 blister). Kmart's preorders opened in waves from 2:30pm AEST on Thursday 10 September ($299 box, $100 Elite Trainer Box, $50 bundle, $26 blister, $8.50 sleeved booster), and BIG W's $299 Booster Box was available for a few hours on 16 September. Target's $8.50 sleeved booster preorder opened on 13 October and was still open at the time of writing.
Release day itself is primarily an in-store opportunity, and this is a nationwide release: EB Games, Kmart, BIG W and Target are the main retailers to check, with Myer, Toymate, Games World, Toyworld and local Pokémon and TCG stores also worth a look. Packs and blisters are what most retailers put on the shelf, while the range of Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles differs by retailer. Specialist TCG stores are also worth checking for Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles, including remaining preorders, waitlists and release-day stock. Kmart and BIG W stores generally open from 8am and Target at 8am or 9am depending on location, so arriving before opening is a sensible approach; individual store availability has not been confirmed.
Further online stock is possible at the retailers that have already held preorders, but no release-day online time has been announced by anyone, and different retailers and products may appear at different times. No retailer has announced special opening arrangements. The 30th Celebration 5 Booster Tin releases the same morning, so stores carrying both may be busier than for a set launch alone.

Where to buy on release day
Online vs in-store availability by retailer. Availability, limits and product mix can differ by store and location.
EB Games listed the Delta Reign range on 21 August. Its Elite Trainer Box ($120) and Booster Bundle ($59) sold through within days of listing, and the Three-Booster Blister ($32) followed in early September. The booster pack ($9.95) and 9-Pocket Portfolio ($30) were still on preorder for 6 November at the time of writing, both as EB World Plus member preorders with a small deposit, and EB was running a buy-ten-get-one-free offer on the booster. EB stores usually carry a set on release day, with walk-in stock varying by store; EB lists the Build & Battle Box ($49) for 20 November.
Preorders held: $120 Elite Trainer Box · $59 Booster Bundle · $32 blister · from 21 Aug
Preorders open: $9.95 booster · $30 9-Pocket Portfolio · EB World Plus · as of 18 Oct
JB Hi-Fi loaded the range in late August and put it live at about 10am AEST on Monday 1 September: the Booster Box ($306), Elite Trainer Box ($100), Booster Bundle ($50) and Three-Booster Blister ($26). CardWatch alerted as it went live and many members secured products; the listings have since become unavailable. Further online stock is possible but unconfirmed. JB Hi-Fi primarily sells Pokémon TCG online, so any restock is more likely to appear online than in store.
Preorders held: $306 Booster Box · $100 Elite Trainer Box · $50 Booster Bundle · $26 blister · live 1 Sep about 10am AEST
Kmart's preorders appeared in waves on Thursday 10 September, from about 2:30pm AEST: the Booster Box ($299), Elite Trainer Box ($100), Booster Bundle ($50), Three-Booster Blister ($26) and Sleeved Booster ($8.50). None is listed now. Kmart has stocked previous major set releases in store, and sleeved boosters and blisters are its most common shelf products; not every store will carry every product. Most stores open at 8am, and a 24-hour Kmart does not necessarily mean a midnight release.
Preorders held: $299 Booster Box · $100 Elite Trainer Box · $50 Booster Bundle · $26 blister · $8.50 sleeved booster · 10 Sep
BIG W took preorders for the $299 Booster Box for a few hours on 16 September, after an $8.50 Sleeved Booster listing appeared on 8 September; neither is listed now. BIG W has stocked previous major set releases in store, generally opening at 8am. No store allocation has been reported for Delta Reign, and no online release has been confirmed, so keep alerts enabled rather than assuming one.
Preorders held: $299 Booster Box · 16 Sep · $8.50 sleeved booster listed 8 Sep
Target's $8.50 Sleeved Booster preorder has been open online since 13 October for a 6 November release, home delivery only and assorted; a $26 Three-Booster Blister listing appeared the same day and has since been removed. Target has stocked previous Pokémon launches in store and has released stock online on launch days before, but an open preorder does not confirm another online release on the day. No store allocation is confirmed.
Preorder open: $8.50 sleeved booster · since 13 Oct · release date listed 6 Nov · as of 18 Oct
Toymate has listed the Delta Reign Blister ($8.99), Three Booster Blister ($29.99) and Booster Bundle ($59.99) as coming soon since 27 September; none has been purchasable. Toymate has stocked previous Pokémon launches in store, so it is worth checking on the day, though store stock and any special opening hours remain unconfirmed.
Listed: $8.99 blister · $29.99 three-booster blister · $59.99 Booster Bundle · coming soon since 27 Sep
Other retailers to watch
Distribution is wider than the stores above. Myer, Games World, Toyworld and Kidstuff have stocked previous Pokémon releases and are worth checking, with availability varying by store; none has listed Delta Reign online. Best & Less briefly showed a $10 booster-pack preorder in early October, and Woolworths has a Delta Reign booster loaded in its system, which is a catalogue record rather than confirmed stock. Independent Pokémon and TCG specialist stores across Australia are also worth checking for Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles, and many have run prerelease events since 24 October; ask your local store about remaining preorders, release-day stock and any waitlist.
Specialist stores
Specialist TCG stores are another option for Delta Reign Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles, with prices varying widely. Booster Boxes have been listed at $295 by Card Plus TCG, $329.95 by Trainer Town and $339 by Collectible Madness, rising to $389.95 at Gameology and $399.99 at Cherry Collectables. Elite Trainer Boxes have ranged from $120 at EE TCG and $125 at Card Plus TCG to $155 at RNR Hobbies and $199.99 at Cherry Collectables. Availability varies: some preorders have closed, while other stores may still have orders, waitlists or release-day stock. Check each retailer's price, availability and dispatch date before ordering.
Going in-store? Read this first
High-demand launches are handled differently by each store and shopping centre, so confirm the details for your specific store on the day. See the full in-store release day guide.
Shopping-centre access
If the store is inside a shopping centre, check the centre's own opening and access information as well as the store's advertised time. Some public entrances open earlier because they service early-opening tenants (supermarkets, gyms), and different entrances can leave you much closer to Kmart, BIG W and the like. Do not use staff-only or restricted entrances, and do not assume a queue at one exterior entrance is the only queue. When you arrive, confirm where the actual store queue is forming.
Find where the line is forming
Most stores will use the normal entrance and a simple first-come queue. Some stores may hand out numbered tickets or stickers, or introduce another queue system on the day. If staff or security are managing the queue, follow their directions.
Arrive early and expect queues
Arrive early and expect queues to form outside the shopping centre before opening. Once the centre opens, customers will generally make their way to the retailer and form a second queue outside the store. Queue management varies by location. Some stores may hand out numbers or tickets, use stickers, or introduce purchase limits, while others may simply serve customers in queue order.
24-hour Kmart
A 24-hour Kmart does not necessarily mean a midnight Pokémon release. On previous launches, collector reports have varied: some stores released around midnight, others held launch stock until the morning. Check with the specific store rather than assuming stock will be released at 12:00am.
CardWatch state channels
Check your CardWatch Discord state channel before travelling and while moving between stores. Members share live local intelligence: queue sizes, where the queue is forming, whether numbers are being handed out, reported limits, whether stock has reached the floor or customer service, and whether a store looks sold out. These are live community reports and can change or be incorrect. Open the CardWatch Discord.
Have a backup store
Pick a second destination before launch morning. Areas with several relevant retailers (Kmart, BIG W, Toymate, Toyworld, Games World and local card stores) give you another option if your first store has a big queue, gets no stock or sells out. None of these are guaranteed to have release-day stock.
Before you leave home
- Check the retailer's opening time
- Check the shopping centre's opening time and public entrances
- Check the latest retailer and local-store social posts
- Check your CardWatch state channel
- Know your backup store
- Don't assume another store's limits or queue system applies to yours
Release-day game plan
- Know what you are buying: Elite Trainer Boxes are a key collector priority, particularly for sealed collections. Booster Boxes appeal to collectors opening packs in bulk or keeping boxes sealed, while Booster Bundles are popular for both opening and sealed collecting. Blisters and single packs are additional options. Major-retailer Booster Box prices have ranged from $299 to $306, with specialist prices varying widely.
- Going in-store: EB Games, Kmart, BIG W and Target are the main retailers to check on release day, with Myer, Toymate, Games World, Toyworld and Kidstuff also worth a look; the range of Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles differs by retailer. Specialist TCG stores are also worth checking for Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles, including remaining preorders, waitlists and release-day stock. Arriving before opening is sensible, but no individual store is guaranteed stock, so check with your local stores first.
- CardWatch state channels: Before you leave, check your state's channel in the free CardWatch Discord for queue sizes, store openings, purchase limits, sightings and sold-out reports from shoppers near you, and post what you see so others can act on it. These are live member reports, not retailer announcements, and they can change within minutes.
- Preorders and online: Earlier preorder windows for Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Boxes and Booster Bundles at JB Hi-Fi, Kmart and BIG W have passed, with the product range differing by retailer. EB Games' Elite Trainer Box and Booster Bundle also sold through in August. Keep CardWatch alerts enabled for potential further online stock, and check specialist TCG stores for remaining preorders, waitlists or incoming release-day stock. EB Games' booster and portfolio preorders and Target's sleeved booster preorder were still open as of 18 October. No release-day online times have been announced, so check retailer listings rather than relying on a predicted time.
- Same-day release: The 30th Celebration 5 Booster Tin releases the same morning. If you are after both, the same major retailers are the likely places, and stores may be busier than for a single launch; the tin has its own guide below.
